About
Heather grew up in the greater Seattle area with her head mostly in the clouds. She was known in school, with her family, and to many of her friends as a bit of a daydreamer. Or a space case. Or inattentive, depending on who you asked.
Her love of books started at an early age and, like many 80s babies, she started reading Stephen King far too young.
She is a lifelong passionate reader, consuming books in every form possible from paper, to ebook, to audiobooks. She is the mom that does all the voices when reading to her children. (She also consistently annoys her children with either her Elmo or Robocall persona).
Heather is a multi-talented, multi-passionate, and highly creative individual. In addition to narration, she is a writer, an artist, she can sing, and is learning (painfully, but enthusiastically) to play the guitar.
After 20 years working in tech Heather found herself unemployed for the first time since she was 14 years old. She took the opportunity and time to truly understand what she wanted to do next, determined not to just step into what others thought she should do.
She created videos of herself reading her own works aloud and found that many praised her diction, tone, and varying registers and the question kept coming up: “Have you considered audiobook narration?”
Well, yes, yes she has considered audiobook narration.
